Terms of Service

1. Booking & Deposit

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and confirm your date. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the couple, as it covers administration, preparation time, and holding the date exclusively for your ceremony.

Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your wedding date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Cancellation Policy

If the couple cancels the ceremony for any reason:

• The 50% deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.

• If full payment has already been made, only the remaining 50% will be refunded.

In the unlikely event that Jaimee Brooking is unable to perform the ceremony due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, all efforts will be made to arrange a suitable replacement celebrant. If this is not possible, a full refund will be offered.

3. Changes & Postponements

Postponements may be accommodated at no additional charge subject to availability. If your new date is unavailable, this will be treated as a cancellation.

Emergency Postponements

In the event of an emergency beyond the couple’s control—such as severe illness, bereavement, natural disaster, or government-imposed restrictions—Jaimee will work with you in good faith to reschedule your ceremony.

• Your booking can be transferred to a new date within 12 months, subject to availability.

• If rescheduling is not possible due to availability or long-term deferral, the standard cancellation policy applies.

Proof of circumstance may be requested for postponement under this clause.

4. Ceremony Content & Rehearsals

All ceremonies are created in collaboration with the couple. A draft will be provided well in advance for review and approval. One rehearsal is included, typically held the week of the wedding at the venue or a nearby location.

5. Travel & Additional Costs

For my $950+GST service, travel is included to weddings held within the Bay of Plenty region, including Mount Maunganui, Tauranga, Papamoa, Te Puke, and Matamata, as well as surrounding areas within approximately a 60 km radius of Mount Maunganui.

Travel outside of this area may incur an additional fee for mileage and/or accommodation, which will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.

6. Privacy & Use of Images

Any images or testimonials provided by you or your photographer may be shared on Jaimee’s website or social media platforms unless you request otherwise in writing.
